Frequently asked questions

What is SmartTable?

A bridge tournament analytics platform. It turns raw tournament data into per-board and career-wide performance breakdowns. See What is SmartTable for the full pitch.

Where do I find my own results?

Sign in and your matched tournaments show up as Favorites on the Home screen. Click any of them, or just ask the Chat assistant something like "how did I do in my last tournament?".

What do terms like Cross-IMP, Decl Value, or Opening Lead Value mean?

Open the Glossary (inside a tournament’s analysis view, under “Explore” in the left sidebar) for plain-language definitions of every measure. You can also just ask the Chat assistant “what does X mean?” at any point; it explains terms without needing you to navigate anywhere.

A tournament I played in isn’t showing up as mine - what do I do?

SmartTable matches your account to players by name automatically at sign-in. If a match wasn’t found or was wrong, check Career Overview’s match review, or reach out via Contact us and we’ll sort it out.

Is my data private?

Most tournaments are public and browsable by anyone. An organiser can also mark a tournament private, in which case only confirmed players in that event can see its results.

Can I look up another player’s results?

Yes, for any public tournament: search for them from a tournament’s "Search player" link, check the Leaderboard, or ask the Chat assistant to look someone up by name.

How do I make the text bigger or switch to dark mode?

Click the blue circular button in the bottom-right corner of any page for a Small/Medium/Large text-size control. Theme (Light/Dark/System) and card-suit style live in Settings.

What’s the difference between "vs DD" and "vs Field"?

"vs DD" replaces only your own result with the double-dummy-optimal (theoretically perfect) outcome and compares it against everyone else’s real result. "vs Field" replaces everyone’s result with their own double-dummy-optimal outcome, so it isolates decision quality (bidding, the lead) from execution across the whole field. The Glossary and Chat assistant can go deeper on request.

I found a bug, or want a feature - where do I send it?

Use Contact us in the sidebar: pick “Report a bug” or “Request a feature” and describe it. We read every message.
